Bench Build at Sligh Middle School

Join us for an exciting day of building benches at Sligh Middle School in Tampa, FL! This in-person event will take place at the school's location on East Sligh Avenue.

Calling all DIY enthusiasts, handy folks, and anyone who loves to get their hands dirty! We'll be working together to construct sturdy and stylish benches for the school's outdoor spaces. No prior experience is necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Volunteers are expected to be able to lift 50lbs or more, be able to precisly follow directions, and work as a team. There will be 18 groups building benches at the same time for a duration of 90 minutes. Groups will potentially have help from players of this year's Gasparilla Bowl and Sligh Middle School students.

Volunteers:

• Dress for outside working conditions
• Wear Closed Toe Shoes
• It is Recommened to wear suncreen and bug spray
• Food and refreshments will be provided
