Susie Francos

With a foundation in healthcare and a passion for holistic well-being, Susie’s journey began in the dental field, where she gained valuable experience in patient education and client care. As a certified yoga teacher, she embraces the interconnectedness of mind, body, and environment—combining movement and mindfulness to inspire balanced, health-conscious lifestyles.

In 2023, Susie furthered her impact by pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Policy at the University of South Florida, driven by a deep commitment to environmental preservation and sustainable solutions.

Susie joined Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful as an Education Coordinator intern in February 2024, later stepping into a Development role supporting key annual events like Tropical Nights and the Annual Awards Breakfast, where she honed her skills in program support and community outreach.

In March 2025, Susie branched out—literally—into her current role as Tree Coordinator, where she organizes and leads tree planting events across the Tampa Bay area. Whether it’s digging into logistics or helping grow Tampa’s urban canopy one tree at a time, Susie is dedicated to making the region a little greener (and shadier!) with every planting.

Outside of work, she’s a proud fur mom to two senior Chihuahuas and a mischievous Bombay kitten, an avid traveler, and once spent six months living in Australia, soaking in its natural beauty.
