Dear Friends, Supporters, and Members of our Community,

As I am preparing to retire from my role as Executive Director of Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each of you.

For the past 27 years, it has been the honor of a lifetime to lead this organization and to work alongside so many passionate individuals committed to protecting and preserving the beauty of our community. Together, we have planted trees, cleaned shorelines, built gardens, educated future generations, and, most importantly, built a movement rooted in environmental stewardship and civic pride.

What we've accomplished would not have been possible without your belief in our mission. Whether you volunteered at a cleanup, sponsored a program, shared your expertise, or simply picked up a piece of litter—your contributions mattered. You have helped shape a cleaner, greener, and more connected Tampa Bay.

Though I’m stepping away from my day-to-day role, my heart will always be with this cause, and I will forever be grateful for the relationships and memories built over the years.

As a special honor, I am humbled to share that I will be recognized as a Lightning Community Hero at Wednesday’s game — a tribute that truly belongs to all of you who have been part of this incredible journey.

Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful is in wonderful hands with Kristina Moreta stepping into the Executive Director role. Kristina brings passion, knowledge, and a deep connection to this community, and I am confident she will lead the organization into an exciting new chapter.

Thank you for the privilege of serving you, and for allowing me to turn my passion into a purpose. I leave this role proud of what we've done—and even more excited about what’s to come for our beautiful Tampa Bay.
